My family takes a yearly reunion trip to Ginger Hill, Lockeport Nova Scotia. It is always stunning when we are there. On this day it was beautiful and sunny but the clouds were teasing us with threats of a downpour. Sure enough, shortly after the reference photo for this painting was taken, the rain came down. It was dramatic but short lived. This is the first painting in a series I hope to complete of our time there.
